946 divorce cases reported in two months

Kuwait City: A recent census of the Ministry of Justice “Sharia Documentation” on divorce cases among Kuwaitis revealed that 946 divorce cases reported in January and February 2023.

The statistics indicated that the number of divorce cases that took place in the aforementioned period for Kuwaiti couples is 6 cases. The cases of mukhala'a divorce amounted to 61, while the cases of divorce based on the ruling amounted to 152. Divorce cases of divorced wives before consummation with them amounted to 61 cases.
