The General Traffic Department conducted stationary and foot campaigns from February 17 to February 23, resulting in the issuance of 26,881 traffic violations. Additionally, 9 juveniles were arrested for driving without a license, 8 expatriates with expired residencies were apprehended, along with 26 wanted individuals, a drug possessor, and a person driving under the influence of alcohol. Furthermore, 78 vehicles and 8 motorcycles were impounded during the campaign. Statistics revealed that the General Traffic Department handled 317 serious accidents and 1,548 minor accidents within the same timeframe.
