Kuwait Authorities Arrest 2 Bangladeshis for Human Trafficking

The Residence Affairs Sector, represented by the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations - Search and Investigation Department - was able to arrest two Bangladeshi nationals involved in human trafficking operations, as they were bringing in workers in exchange for sums of money ranging between 1,700 and 1,900 dinars per transaction.


The administration was able to arrest a person of Bangladeshi nationality involved in counterfeiting the stamps of the government electronic payment system, based on reliable information from confidential sources. A tight ambush was set up, which resulted in the arrest of the accused, who was in possession of a large quantity of counterfeit stamps. All legal measures are being taken against the accused, and they will be referred to the competent authorities.
