UAE Tourist Visa for Indians: Costs, Eligibility, and Application Guide

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) remains a preferred international destination for millions of Indian travelers every year. A 2024 survey ranked the UAE among the top five dream destinations for Indians. If you are planning a visit, here’s a breakdown of tourist visa options, costs, and eligibility criteria.

The UAE offers four types of tourist visas, each varying in validity and price:

  • 30-day single-entry visa – Costs 250 AED (~₹6,000)
  • 30-day multiple-entry visa – Costs 690 AED (~₹16,500)
  • 90-day single-entry visa – Costs 600 AED (~₹14,500)
  • 90-day multiple-entry visa – Costs 1,740 AED (~₹41,500)

To apply, travelers must have a valid passport (minimum six months validity), a bank statement showing at least 3,000 AED (~₹72,000), and confirmed hotel bookings.

Additionally, Indian passport holders with valid US, UK, EU, Canadian, Japanese, South Korean, Singaporean, Australian, or New Zealand visas or residency permits are eligible for a 14-day visa-on-arrival for 100 AED. This can be extended for another 14 days at 250 AED, while a 60-day visa costs 250 AED.

Indian travelers can also apply for e-visas through authorized channels, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free travel experience to the UAE.
