The United Arab Emirates (UAE) remains a preferred international destination for millions of Indian travelers every year. A 2024 survey ranked the UAE among the top five dream destinations for Indians. If you are planning a visit, here’s a breakdown of tourist visa options, costs, and eligibility criteria.
The UAE offers four types of tourist visas, each varying in validity and price:
To apply, travelers must have a valid passport (minimum six months validity), a bank statement showing at least 3,000 AED (~₹72,000), and confirmed hotel bookings.
Additionally, Indian passport holders with valid US, UK, EU, Canadian, Japanese, South Korean, Singaporean, Australian, or New Zealand visas or residency permits are eligible for a 14-day visa-on-arrival for 100 AED. This can be extended for another 14 days at 250 AED, while a 60-day visa costs 250 AED.
Indian travelers can also apply for e-visas through authorized channels, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free travel experience to the UAE.
