Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior's General Department of Security Media announced the arrest of 23 individuals who violated residency laws during a gathering in the Salmiya area. This action was part of the ministry's continued efforts to crack down on residency and labor law violations across the country.

The arrests followed a complaint received through social media about a group of illegal workers in the area. In response, the Residence Affairs Investigations Department directed the Violators Apprehension Department in Hawalli Governorate to investigate and take action at the reported site.

Among the arrested individuals, 19 held residency permits under Article 20 (domestic workers), while 4 held permits under Article 18 (private sector workers). Legal procedures were initiated against all violators in preparation for their referral to the appropriate authorities.
