The General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations in Kuwait, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Manpower, Kuwait Municipality, and Kuwait Fire Force, conducted intensive inspection campaigns from May 11 to 18 across various governorates. These operations primarily focused on industrial zones like Shuwaikh Industrial, Amghara, and Na’ayem Scrap, where authorities apprehended 823 individuals for violating residency and labor laws.
The campaigns targeted multiple sites and facilities suspected of non-compliance with legal standards, resulting in the arrest and processing of violators in coordination with manpower shelters. During the same period, 1,084 individuals were deported from the country after completing all necessary legal procedures with the Deportation and Detention Affairs Department.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed its commitment to continuing such security efforts, emphasizing that legal accountability will apply not only to workers but also to employers found violating Kuwait’s residency and labor regulations.
