COVID INFECTION RATE SLOWING IN YOUTH

The UK government’s chief scientific adviser has said that his country’s infection rate has been slowing in young people .In a government coronavirus press conference on Thursday, Sir Patrick Vallance said the infection rate – or R rate – is about half of what it would usually be, which shows people are working to control the spread of the virus.But, he noted that the epidemic has been doubling every 14 to 18 days.
