MEW To Sack 118 Expat Employees

Kuwait City : As per reports, the Ministry of Electricity and Water is  preparing to end the contract of 118 expatriate employees working in different sectors in various professions. The new decision is in accordance with the plan of the Civil Service Bureau to replace expats with national workers in all state institutions. The reports say that 59 employees have exceeded the period of 30 years. Also all the employees that are to be sacked are informed about it. The Civil Service Bureau has requested for termination of the contracts of 626 expatriates employed in the government ministries in the year 2020-2021 budget.
