PANEL DISCUSSES PHENOMENON OF BACHELORS IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS

Kuwait City : To address bachelors in residential areas, a committee was formed. They want to discuss bachelor's housing in private and model housing areas. This comes at a time when the residential areas are complaining about singles, while the singles are suffering due to lack of proper residential options as a failure of implementing residential workers' cities. 

The Director-General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi, has confirmed that there was a loophole in the law that contributed to delaying solving the problem of singles in residential areas. Thus there is an impending need to amend the private law to solve this problem. A special campaign was launched by the Municipality last year to prevent the expanse of singles in private housing areas, but the campaign could not continue because of the outbreak of corona.
