5,000 KD FINE FOR ALLOWING NON-VACCINATED TO ENTER MALLS

Kuwait City: The authorities have announced that any violations made against the directive of the Cabinet to prevent non-vaccinated people from entering complexes, clubs, restaurants and cafes will attract a 5,000 KD fine.

The facility would be fined KD 5,000 (USD 16,500) if it allowed non-vaccinated persons unless the management can prove that the person in question has entered without their authorization. 

The started inspection campaign on all malls and commercial complexes larger than 6000 sq. mt. starting from today. The entry is restricted using the "My Kuwait ID" app or "Immune" app.

Sources have confirmed that the ban does not apply to cooperative societies and parallel markets and food outlets, markets less than 6,000 sqm in area.
