PLANE CRASH AT DUBAI AIRPORT, TRAGEDY AVERTED

Dubai: Plane crashes at Dubai airport. The rear of a Gulf Air flight crashed into a Fly Dubai flight. The incident took place this morning. There were passengers on both planes involved in the accident. A runway at the airport was temporarily closed following the incident but reopened two hours later. No one was reported injured. Gulf Air is a Bahrain-based airline. Gulf Air said efforts were underway to get passengers to their destinations.


The FZ 1461 was en route from Dubai International Airport to Bishkek International Airport (Kyrgyzstan) when it crashed. The passengers were then transferred to another plane. "We apologize for any inconvenience caused to passengers," Fly Dubai said in a statement. Authorities said they would investigate the accident.
