Kuwait City: The Philippine embassy said 460 Filipino workers had returned home in the past two months. The workers returned home under the leadership of embassy officials and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Kuwait. Philippine Labor Attach Nasser Muthafa said most of the returnees were ex-prisoners, Filipino prisoners in deportation centers, people with visa problems and the sick.

The number of passengers per flight was reduced to 65 passengers due to the reduction in the number of passengers due to Kovid restrictions. From January to June last year, 853 Filipinos were repatriated. Most of them were on tickets issued by the embassy as part of the Foreign Office's Assistance to Nation program. According to embassy officials, there are 223,565 Filipinos working in Kuwait.
