INDIAN AMBASSADOR OF KUWAIT ANNOUNCES HISTORIC DECISION, WISHES FROM EXPAT COMMUNITY

Kuwait City: The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has announced a historic decision at the Open House held this evening by Ambassador Sibi George. Families of workers earning a monthly salary of 120 dinars or less will receive a subsidy of Rs 1 lakh. The Indian community applauded the announcement of Siby George, who has been moving forward with popular decisions since taking office in Kuwait. The ambassador said the aid would be provided in collaboration with the Indian Community Support Group. In the last one year, 546 Indian expatriates have died of corona in Kuwait. Of these, more than 100 are eligible for assistance, officials said. The Ambassador said that the Covishield vaccine has been approved in Kuwait and can be approved only if the application is submitted with accurate information. Travel must be in accordance with the instructions issued by the Kuwait DGCA. In the current special situation, it would be appropriate to purchase a flight ticket after showing the green status on the Immune App of the Ministry of Health of Kuwait or on the Kuwait Mobile ID, the Ambassador said.


Return of Indians to Kuwait, Indian Community Welfare Today 's open house was organized with the focus on funding assistance and death registration. Fahad Suri, First Secretary, presented the demo on registering vaccination certificates on the portal of the Ministry of Health at an online event. The embassy official then explained the various procedures for transporting the body home.
