KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT LIKELY TO BE UPGRADED

Kuwait City: The Kuwait International Airport is likely to be upgraded as it prepares to implement the decision, which includes the entry of expatriates. Airport sources said up to 10,000 passengers could be accommodated per day.


Only the permission of the government will be enough for this. Sources said the change in travel procedures would increase the airport's capacity to reduce steep ticket prices. A letter has been submitted to the cabinet seeking permission to increase the capacity. They added that they were waiting for permission.
