PHILIPPINES SENDS PLANE TO REPATRIATE DOMESTIC WORKERS

Kuwait City: Criticism of some of the countries' sending of domestic workers to Kuwait tarnishes its image. To make matters worse, some countries even send planes to pick up domestic workers from embassies. 


The critique was made by Basam al-Shammari, an expert on issues related to domestic work. This move is affecting the image of Kuwait both internationally and locally. 

The Philippines has decided to send a plane to the embassy on the 29th to take asylum seekers. Al-Shammari said that the continuation of this trend will affect the labor market, especially the domestic market.
