RAPID ATIGEN KITS TO BE DELIVERED TO STUDENTS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: As the government begins its academic year on October 3, health officials plan to conduct PCR screenings at six health centers for students and teachers who have not been vaccinated against the covid vaccine. In addition, the Ministry of Health plans to import rapid antigen kits and supply them to private sector hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies. 


Health ministry sources said the rapid antigen kits would be imported within two days. The procedures will be completed and its distribution will be expedited. Rapid antigen kits give results within 15 minutes. 

Privately owned pharmacies and laboratories may charge up to three dinars for this test. The test is approved by the World Health Organization and is officially registered with the Ministry of Health.
