Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has "tied the knot" with her accomplice during an Islamic service in Birmingham. 

She and Asser Malik participated in a nikkah service, where lady and husband to be agree to be hitched. 

The 24-year-old extremist said it was "a valuable day" in her life. 

The Pakistani ladies' freedoms lobbyist tracked down asylum in the West Midlands in the wake of being shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012. 

"Asser and I secured the bunch to be accomplices forever," she tweeted on Tuesday, sharing how they had participated in a "little nikkah service with family".
