CHINESE CITY CHARTS HIGHEST SNOWFALL SINCE 1905

Weighty snowstorms in certain pieces of north-eastern China have brought record snowfall, raising worries about keeping homes warm in a space hit by blackouts recently. 

In the capital city of Shenyang, in Liaoning region, normal snowfall came to 51cm (20 inches). 

This is the most noteworthy recorded snowfall starting around 1905, said state outlet Xinhua. 

In adjoining inward Mongolia, one individual passed on and more than 5,600 were impacted after a weighty blizzard.
