Dubai: Expo 2020 Dubai has announced its latest visitor numbers, with an incredible 3,578,653 individual visits achieved by the half-way point in November — only six weeks into the six-month run of Expo 2020 Dubai.

The announcement follows a jam-packed weekend at the site, which featured stellar music, sports, and cultural performances. Highlight and Punch performed at the KITE (or K-pop in the Emirates) showcase on Friday night, alongside Fela and the Kalakuta Queens, a spectacular show honouring the life of Nigerian musical maestro and political activist Fela Kuti.

Middle East mega-stars Nancy Ajram and Ragheb Alama performed under a full Al Wasl dome, wowing the crowds as part of Expo's latest Infinite Nights sessions, while eight-time Olympic gold medalist and former sprinter Usain Bolt arrived the next morning, with the Gatorade ambassador hosting a charity family fun run at the site.
