GDRFA ANNOUNCED THE LAUNCH OF AN AUTOMATIC PASSPORT RENEWAL SERVICE FOR EMIRATIS

Dubai: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has initiated a proactive initiative to automatically renew citizens' passports.


The GDRFA's Director-General, Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, stated that the initiative is in line with the authority's celebration of the UAE's 50th National Day.

Emirati passports will be automatically renewed six months before they expire. The authorities will then contact passport holders to determine their preferred delivery methods.
