CORONA OUTBREAK, WHO WARNS OF MORE THAN 7 MILLION DEATHS IN EUROPE

  • 24/11/2021

The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed concern that more than seven million people could die in Europe in the coming months if the spread of corona spreads. With this, the total death toll will reach 22 lakh.

The WHO's warning comes as European countries are reinstating tighter controls as the corona spreads sharply. As of March 2022, 49 out of 53 countries are likely to experience heavy congestion in the intensive care unit.

Improper vaccination also increases the risk. The group said the daily corona death toll had risen from 2,100 in September to 4,200 last week. Corona is currently the leading cause of death in Europe and the Middle East.
