BLACK FRIDAY STRIKES ARE BEING PLANNED BY AMAZON EMPLOYEES

Amazon employees in 20 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and several European Union countries, are planning protests and work stoppages on Black Friday.

The holiday shopping day is one of Amazon's busiest of the year.

"Amazon takes too much and gives back too little," says the Make Amazon Pay campaign.

In each country, it is backed by a coalition of labour organisations, trade unions, grassroots campaigns, and non-profit organisations.
