UAE GOLDEN JUBILEE, RAS AL KHAIMAH HAS A ANNOUNCED 50% REDUCTION IN TRAFFIC FINES

Dubai: On the occasion of the upcoming UAE National Day, a fifth Emirate has announced a 50% discount on traffic fines. Ras Al Khaimah authorities announced on Thursday that motorists in the Emirate can also take advantage of a 50% discount scheme on traffic fines.


The initiative is part of the Emirate's Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Similar schemes were announced earlier this month by authorities in Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain.

Motorists in Ras Al Khaimah can get a discount from December 5, 2021 to January 3, 2022, according to a statement issued by the Ras Al Khaimah Police.

Residents are eligible for a reduction in radar fines, as well as the cancellation of vehicle impoundment and traffic points.
