A new system for giving expatriate drivers' licenses

Kuwait : Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, conducted a meeting with traffic sector leaders in his office at the Ministry of Interior's headquarters today, Monday.

Proposals to minimize traffic congestion and density were considered at the conference, as were a number of studies and ministerial decisions related to the construction of a new, advanced process for giving driving permits to expatriates.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the security institution is working to develop research and study tools in order to develop the best traffic systems that achieve the desired goals, expressing a number of observations that will help with the implementation of studies and plans on the ground, which will help to alleviate traffic congestion. The Undersecretary of the Interior conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, praising the efforts of the traffic police in implementing the traffic plan that targets the safety and security of vehicle drivers and the smooth flow of traffic on the roads.
