The Department of Deportation and Temporary Detention Affairs, on behalf of the General Administration of Correctional Institutions, released a data detailing 474 persons deported from the country in the previous week.
According to the department's records, 348 men were expelled, while 126 were deported, for a variety of reasons, including breaching the residency and work rules, committing criminal cases, and working for others.
She stated that the legislation to deport violating expatriates was based on the directives of the Minister of Interior, Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, as well as the instructions and follow-up of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf, who called for swift legal action against those arrested for breaking the law, as well as the expeditious deportation of those arrested.
