KUWAIT CITY : Non-graduate expatriates aged sixty and up are in limbo as the government continues to delay in resolving the issue of work permit renewal, according to Al-Rai daily, citing "informed sources."

The daily has learned from these 'informed sources' that this issue is resurfacing for these expatriates — some of whom spend sleepless nights trying to save 500 dinars for private health insurance and another sum to renew their work permit — because they are now facing bank account suspension because they do not have a valid Civil ID, which means their accounts will be frozen and they will be unable to withdraw or transact.
