Kuwait receives its first Eurofighter Typhoons.

Kuwait : On Tuesday, the Kuwait Air Force received the first two of 28 Eurofighter Typhoons built in Italy for the Kuwait Air Force.
The fighter jets were produced by Leonardo, an Italian aerospace manufacturer, following Kuwaiti Air Force specifications.
The Typhoon Tranche 3 is a multi-role fighter jet with electronic warfare and high-speed response capabilities, as well as improved missile armament.
Lt-Gen Khaled Saleh Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Chief of Staff, Sheikh Fahad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Defense Ministry Acting Undersecretary, and Italy's Ambassador to Kuwait Carlo Balducci, as well as representatives from Leonardo, attended a ceremony commemorating the occasion.
