Kuwait's foreign minister leads a delegation to the United Kingdom. -GCC discussions

LONDON: Kuwait's Foreign Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, led the Kuwaiti delegation to the GCC-UK joint talks in London yesterday.

The discussions focused on GCC-UK ties and ways to strengthen them in a variety of areas, including political, economic, and investment, according to a statement from Kuwait's Foreign Ministry.

They also discussed a variety of regional and global issues of mutual concern, according to the statement.
Sheikh Dr. Ahmad met with UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss earlier yesterday, focusing on plans to strengthen bilateral ties.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of foreign-ministerial level talks between the United Kingdom and the Gulf Cooperation Council's six members.
