The Kuwaiti government advises against travel due to an increase in Covid-19 cases.

KUWAIT : The Kuwait Cabinet held an extraordinary meeting on Monday at Seif Palace to discuss global coronavirus developments and decided to make some decisions in light of the rapid spread of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah presided over the meeting, according to Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Bassel Al-Humoud Al-Sabah.

Dr. Bassel, who is also Acting Foreign Minister and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, briefed the Cabinet on the latest developments in the country.
