Quarantine period is not considered sick leave and is not deducted from the leave balance.

KUWAIT CITY : According to the Civil Service Commission, travellers who return to Kuwait during their home quarantine period are not eligible for sick leave and should not be deducted from their leave balance. All passengers arriving in Kuwait are subject to a 10-day home quarantine, but they can be released earlier if they have a negative PCR test 72 hours after their arrival. Passengers returning to Kuwait should use the Shlonak app, which allows the quarantined individual to upload PCR test results.
