The Ministry of the Interior destroyed 16,674 bottles of wine this morning

Kuwait : The Ministry of Interior destroyed 16,674 bottles of various alcohol transferred from the security sectors, after final rulings were issued in cases involving their owners.

The General Administration of Relations and Security Media said that, in implementation of Ministerial Resolution No. 15 of 2016 regarding the destruction of seized liquor in the court cases, the committee formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Investigations for Public Prosecution Affairs, Major General Dr. Coordination with the Criminal Security Sector represented by the General Department for Drug Control, Traffic and Operations Sector, represented by the General Department of Emergency Police, the General Department for Relations and Security Media and the Kuwait Municipality to destroy all types of liquor seizures.
