Various spread global gloom over the new year

KUWAIT CITY: Tariq Al-Muzram, the head of the Government Communications Center and government spokesman, stated on Sunday that the concerned government agencies are eager to keep up with the latest developments of the new mutant "omicron" and to prepare for its rapid spread, according to Al-Jarida daily.

After the meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies at Bayan Palace, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Al-Jaber, Al-Muzaram told KUNA that the concerned government agencies are always ready to deal with any developments in the fight against the Corona virus.

He urged citizens and residents to receive the third booster dose of the virus's approved vaccine, emphasizing the importance of adhering to health requirements, particularly when attending social events.
