KUWAITIS RANKED SEVENTH IN TERMS OF FOREIGNERS BUYING REAL ESTATE IN TURKEY IN 2021

Kuwait City: According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday, Kuwaitis bought 1,791 properties in 2021, ranking seventh, while Iranians bought 10,056 properties, Iraqis came in second with 8,661 properties, followed by Russians with 5,379, Afghans with 2,762, Germans with 2,358 and Kazakhs with 2,090 properties.


According to the data, international real estate transactions grew by 5.43 percent last year — 58,576 homes — as compared to 2020. According to the reports, Istanbul led the way with 26,469 properties sold to foreigners in 2021, followed by Antalya with 12,384 and Ankara, the capital, with 3,672 properties.
