GERMANY REPORTS 1 LAKH NEW COVID-19 CASES IN PAST 24 HOURS

According to data given by the country's public health ministry on Wednesday, Germany has recorded more than 100,000 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours. According to the Robert Koch Institute, Europe's largest economy registered 112,323 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, including 239 fatalities. Over a seven-day period, the weekly incidence rate reached 584.4 new infections per 100,000 persons, according to the FDA. Germany has strengthened restrictions to reduce contamination, limiting admission to pubs and restaurants to persons who have had booster shots or who have been tested in addition to being completely vaccinated or recovered.
