BRAZIL FLOODS KILL 21 AND DESTROY HOME

Officials in the Brazilian state of So Paulo said at least 21 people have died as a result of floods and landslides induced by severe rainfall. Nine additional people have been hurt, and many more have gone missing, displacing almost 600 families. After examining the flooded districts via air, Governor Joo Doria of So Paulo has issued emergency fund.
Since the start of the wet season, heavy rains have killed more than 40 people in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.
