A DEVASTATING LANDSLIDE IN COLOMBIA HAS BURIED HOMES

Officials say a landslide prompted by heavy rains in central Colombia has killed at least 14 people. After many residences were consumed in flames in the Dosquebradas municipality of Risaralda province on Tuesday, another 35 individuals were sent to the hospital. A snapshot of a gash in the beautiful vegetation covering a mountain overlooking the area was released by officials. Other residents who live near a swollen river have been relocated to a safer location. Colombia's disaster management officials reported that rescue crews have been combing the mud for more survivors.
