The hunt for survivors in Petrópolis, Brazil, has been delayed by bad weather four days after disastrous flash floods and mudslides.
Due to strong rains, emergency crews were forced to halt their work numerous times on Saturday. They claim that there is minimal chance of finding anyone alive.

According to officials, 146 people have died, including at least 27 children and teenagers, and 191 remain missing. Over 900 individuals are accommodated in schools and shelters.

In a dense fog on Saturday, workers delved through the rubble and sludge with spades and shovels. Volunteer teams are assisting in the efforts.
In unstable locations, teams are searching with hand tools and chainsaws, with the assistance of 41 sniffing dogs.
