Kuwait City: Officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry have inspected meat markets in the Mubarak region to monitor the prices of basic food items during the holy month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, Faisal al-Ansari, a senior official in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, said he would closely monitor the price level in the market. He added that action would be taken against the shops for violating the law and if the prices were increased unreasonably, the shops would be closed and fined.
