A SPAM WEBSITE TARGETING MILLIONS OF RUSSIANS HAS BEEN SET UP

A Norwegian computer engineer has established a website that allows anyone to send an email on the Ukraine conflict to up to 150 Russian email addresses at once, allowing Russian citizens to hear the reality their government is hiding. Email inboxes are pinging all over Russia.

Thousands of communications with the same exciting subject have been received. I am not your adversary, ya vam ne vrag. The note, which is written in Russian with an English translation, begins as follows: "Dear Friend, I'm writing to convey my concern for the future security of our planet's children. Putin's invasion of Ukraine has been widely denounced around the world."

The lengthy email goes on to implore Russian people to reject the war in Ukraine and seek the truth about the invasion from non-state news services.

In just a few days, more than 22 million of these emails landed in Russian inboxes, and they're being sent by volunteers around the world, who are donating their time and email addresses to the cause.
