Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior has emphasised the importance of informing the security directors in the governorates where temporary exhibits are being held about the restrictions and regulations outlined in the Minister of Municipality Affairs' order on the installation of temporary trade fairs. According to an informed source, the Ministry of Interior has made observations in the governorates of noncompliance with the Minister of Municipality Resolution No. 930 of 2019 regarding the regulation regarding the establishment of temporary exhibitions, which is failing to notify the Ministry of Interior, in a letter to the Kuwait Municipality. This is in addition to the lack of licencing authority inspectors to ensure that these exhibitions comply with the necessary requirements during exhibitions and the failure to comply with Ministry of Commerce and Industry Resolution No. 303 of 2018 regarding the general rules for organising temporary trade exhibitions.

According to the Ministry of Interior, these exhibitions do not adhere to the conditions stipulated in Article 5 of the regulation and are held in violation of the law, regulations, and decisions regulating them, including failure to obtain the necessary licences for their establishment, because temporary exhibitions are set up inside private residential areas, and major use of loudspeakers, which causes inconvenience to the residents of those areas, by blocking.
