EXPATRIATES ARRESTED IN KUWAIT FOR BEGGING WITH MINORS

Kuwait City: According to the General Administration of Residency Affairs, fifteen persons have been arrested for begging around the country. They were apprehended during a search operation led by Lieutenant General Anwar al-Barjaz, the Interior Ministry's Undersecretary, with the goal of putting an end to begging. Some were begging with their children.


According to administration authorities, the inmates were from Jordan, Sri Lanka, and Syria. They have been subjected to severe legal action. A case of begging with a minor has also been reported. They have been handed up to the appropriate authorities, and their sponsors have been summoned to take legal action, according to authorities.
