THE NUMBER OF ORPHANS IN KUWAITI HOSPITALS IS RISING

Kuwait City: The number of long-term cases of families being abandoned in hospitals has risen to 230, according to Health Ministry sources. The families of the victims were taken to Farwaniya, Mubarak Al Kabir, Al Sabah, Al Amiri, Adan and Jahra hospitals. This problem has plagued medical and nursing staff for years. Sources said that there was no one to complete their discharge procedures. 


There are cases where no one even visits the hospital for months and in some cases for years. There are also relatives who refuse to discharge on the grounds that there is no suitable place to stay in the house. They also argue that it is difficult to provide the services of a nurse at home. There are a lot of scenes in various hospitals that hurt the human conscience of elderly patients who are considered by their loved ones.
