OFFICIALS CLOSELY MONITOR DELIVERY LICENSES IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Authorities are monitoring frauds related to delivery licenses. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has set up a committee to probe forged and illegally issued commercial licenses. The committee is expected to issue its decision within a month. The committee was set up as part of a series of measures taken by Commerce and Industry Minister Fahad al-Hashimi. 


It also formed a technical team to determine the validity of suspended commercial licenses. It also checks whether commercial activities are taking place without the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs and municipalities. The licenses of delivery companies issued after the 2019 ban decision will be checked. The committee will also question officials and employees about the circumstances under which the license can be obtained, sources said.
