DUBAI'S RULER ENACTS LEGISLATION TO GOVERN DIGITAL SERVICES

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, has published a law governing the provision of digital services in Dubai.


The Law aims to accelerate the emirate's digital transformation, improve digital service delivery, and promote service digitalization in both the public and private sectors. 

Government entities and judicial agencies, including Dubai Courts and the Dubai Public Prosecution, as well as non-government organisations in Dubai, are mandated to provide digital services to their consumers under the Law and its rulings.
