GULF GAMES POSTPONED AFTER UAE PRESIDENT'S DEATH

Kuwait City: Following the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Kuwait Olympic Committee Chairman Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stated that the Gulf Games would be postponed for three days.


Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah remembered him as a wise leader dedicated to serving the Arab and Muslim peoples. The Gulf Games will begin on Monday, according to the amended timetable. Football, handball, karate, and judo are among the 16 disciplines where competitions are held.
