KUWAITI MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS HAS SET UP NEW SYSTEM TO APPLY FOR LEAVE

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Social Affairs has taken important steps on the issue of employee leave. The Ministry is in the process of bringing in an automated system for obtaining annual leave and sick leave for the employees of the Financial and Administrative Affairs, Planning and Administrative Development Division of the Ministry. The ministry also organized a meeting to explain the new system. 


The ministry yesterday organized an extensive meeting of about 200 supervisory posts, including managers, observers and department heads, to introduce them to the new system. The new service is a "barcode". It is available on the Ministry's website. All the employee who needs leave has to do is submit a request to access "Administrative Affairs" after providing his username and password. Sources said that the administration does not have to wait for days to receive these requests.
