According to the government's press agency, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated on Friday that the country has entered the first stage of its post-conflict reconstruction.

The Ukrainian authorities will examine the losses caused by the Russia-Ukraine conflict in the first stage of recovery, produce technical paperwork for restoration projects, and repair vital facilities, Shmyhal stated at a cabinet meeting.

"By the autumn, the government's job is to rebuild the majority of the damaged key facilities," he stated.

According to Ukraine's state road agency Ukravtodor, the conflict has destroyed over 300 bridges and approximately 24,000 kilometres of road throughout Ukraine.
