"At least 22 people were killed and numerous more were injured on June 8 when a vehicle carrying them plummeted hundreds of feet into a ravine in Pakistan's hilly Balochistan province," an official said.

When the driver failed to navigate a tight bend in the mountainous district of Akhtarzai near Killa Saifullah, which is at an elevation of 1,572 metres, the vehicle plunged into the ravine. Twenty-two people were killed and a child was injured in the accident.
