CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES, KUWAIT MINISTRY OF POWER FORMED A SPECIAL COMMITTEE

Kuwait City: Power Minister Engineer Ali Al Mousa has decided to form a committee to regulate the use of charging points for cars and electric bicycles. The committee is headed by Ahmed Al Rashid, assistant undersecretary for customer service at the ministry. Al Moussa points out that technologies in the electric car sector are undergoing revolutionary changes.


Many countries around the world are trying to bring about big changes in the region. It is essential to prepare the infrastructure in Kuwait as well. The committee will work to ensure that the requirements for car chargers and electric bikes meet the requirements of the Ministry. The Minister said that the fatwa will be submitted to the Legislature for approval after the necessary criteria, regulations and recommendations are finalized.
