HOT COAL WALK IN SWITZERLAND INJURES 25 PEOPLE

  • 15/06/2022

Twenty-five persons were treated for burns after walking across hot coals as part of a team-building activity in northern Switzerland.

Following the event on Tuesday evening, thirteen of them were carried to the hospital and treated for more serious injuries.

At around 18:00, a significant emergency response, including ten ambulances, arrived at the private event (16:00 GMT).

According to authorities, the gang walked over a several-metre-long bed of coals and felt discomfort immediately after.

It's unclear whether the problem was with how the coals were placed up or how the group walked through them.
